First Attempt at Being a Blogger

I figure I'm way behind most of the civilized world - I've never blogged. In fact, talking about 'blogging' makes me feel a bit strange. :) What can I say? I'm from a tiny tiny little town, population of about 100. I've been a penny-pinching, cheapskate momma for about 16 months now. Madilyn Grace arrived March 16, 2008. Her dad still gives me hell about making him miss ribs. See, I had been having labor pains all through the day (FTM me, had no idea) and didn't tell anyone until I was in full-blown labor. Anyway, we were over at his parents' and were fixing to sit down and have ribs. Right about that time, I decided the pain was entirely too much to take and started screaming about having to get to the hospital. So, in the truck we jump and a few hours later, we're parents.

He never did get his ribs.... And, I'm pretty sure he places the blame squarely on my shoulders. :-D
